Nodals sunbreakers are constructed from extruded aluminium with blades in differents size or shape.

Support arms are typically made from aluminium mullion bolted back to the building or curtain wall structure at a suitable spacing above the window. The support arms are usually horizontal, vertical or any combination. Louvres are generally spaced to provide optimum shading. Sun angles vary depending on latitude and building orientation.
